This action family drama film has been written and directed by Sukumar and produced by BVSN Prasad under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. The movie features Junior NTR and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, while Jagapati Babu and Rajendra Prasad are in pivotal roles. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music, while Vijay C Chakravarthy has handled camera work for the film, which will hit the screens on 13 January as a Sankranthi treat.
Soggade Chinni Nayana
Directed by Kalyan Krishna, “Soggade Chinni Nayana” is touted to be a family entertainer starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishnan and Lavanya Tripathi. Produced under the banner Annapurna Studios, the film is set to release on 15 January.
Director Vamsi Paidipally’s bilingual movie “Oopiri”, which has been made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously, features Akkineni Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. Gopi Sunder has composed the music for the film, which is slated for release on 26 February.
Sardaar Gabbar Singh
Pawan Kalyan, who was last seen in “Gopala Gopala”, is set to return to the big screen with “Sardaar Gabbar Singh”, which is slated to hit the screens on 8 April. The movie has KS Ravindra as director and is being jointly produced by Pawan Kalyan and Sharrath Marar. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead in the film, for which Devi Sri Prasad is composing songs and the background score.
Stylish star Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie “Sarainodu” is written and directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Allu Aravind under the banner Geetha Arts. Allu Arjun, Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa are the female leads in the film, which has Anjali’s item number, S Thaman’s music and Rishi Punjabi’s cinematography. The movie will release on 8 April.
Director Srikanth Addala’s “Brahmotsavam”, which is being shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, is touted as an intense drama featuring Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha in the lead roles. It is the second collaboration between the actor and the director. They had previously collaborated on the family drama ‘”eethamma Vakitlo Srimalle Chettu”. “Brahmotsavam” is scheduled to release on 29 April.
Director SS Rajamouli “Baahubali: The Beginning” ended with the statement that its sequel, “Baahubali: The Conclusion” would release in 2016. But latest reports suggest the movie may not be release in cinema halls this year, but somewhere in the early 2017.

Ram Charan’s Thani Oruvan remake is set to release in August 2016. Surender Reddy would be wielding the megaphone and Rakul Preet Singh would be playing the female lead. After Bruce Lee’s not so favourable performance, Ram Charan is looking bounce back with his best performance.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie which was supposed to go to sets in 2015 itself, was delayed due to lack of proper scripts, now that he has got a blockbuster script with Kaththi, Chiranjeevi would start the movie in march 2016 and prepare for a release in the later part of 2016.
